Festivals are not just a great time to celebrate and enjoy but also an opportunity to acquaint our children with our diverse culture.
To give an insight of the day, students of #MMIS #Karnal celebrated Baisakhi through a special assembly on 12th of April, 2019. Children were dressed up in attractive attires, traditionally and participated whole heartedly and tapped the floor to the dancing tunes. This spread sparkling smile on one and all viewers. Program began with nice speech and heart touching song, tiny tots walked on ramp. The toddlers enjoyed the beats of the dhol and their joy had no limits. At the end the whole school came alive with a brilliant #dance performance.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal congratulated and appreciated all the students for giving such scintillating and vivacious performances.
School plays an important role in the personality development of students. This is the need of the hour as it is essential for the holistic development of children and their survival in this competitive world.
#MMIS #KARNAL conducted ‘Personality Grooming Class’ for students from Grade 3-10.The main objective of the this class was to familiarize students with the emerging ideas and trends on how to develop speaking skills in the 21st century contexts. The programm also aimed to enhance their communication skills and to enrich the academic language skills (speaking and presentation skills) They were also told about the linguistic skills.
Students were given tips on how to shake off the stage fear and build confidence.They were told some tips to use mike. They were also encouraged to be optimistic and to have a positive approach about everything in life. Most importantly, it was emphasized that they should never lose confidence.
Students spoke on various topics and new students introduced themselves to everyone. It was to enhance their speaking skills as well as their confidence to make them more expressive.
To sum up, it was a well thought-out class to motivate the students to discover themselves.
A plethora of activities conducted in the school helps students to discover their latent talent. These go a long way in building confidence and self discipline, besides imparting skills to handle competitive situations. Keeping this in mind the students of MMIS, Karnal were geared up for various activities that educated, brightened and enlightened their young minds. Since April 6, 2019 i.e. Saturday was the day one of the weekly activities of the session, an opportunity was given to the students to express their views and creativity in the new class with a new zeal. Students participated in different activities such as Tearing ‘N’ Pasting, Making Hyacinths, Self Introduction, Making Tree with Spirals Using Pencil Shavings, Talent Hunt, Lithography, Texture Painting and Poster Making. Students enjoyed a lot while participating in these activities.

A distinct program on Good Parenting was conducted at Nilokheri on 31 March, 2019 by MMIS, KARNAL. The man of wisdom, the Principal of MMIS, explained to the parents that school and parents play an important role in the personality development of students. The school organized ‘Drawing and Painting Competition’ for students as the school believes that art encompasses values, ideas and help enlighten one’s thoughts and power of imagination. These events are the need of hour as it is essential for holistic development of children and their survival in this competitive world.
The program was culminated with the Prize Distribution Ceremony to hand over the prizes and certificates to the winners in different categories.
Delicious snacks were arranged for the parents. The Principal presented vote of thanks to the all proud parents.
All were inspired by his great words.
It was indeed a spectacular display of talent and fervour.
Studies show, that when families are involved in the education of their children in positive ways, the children maximize on their untapped potentials and are more regular to school and demonstrate positive attitude and behavior.

Keeping this thing in mind the MMIS, Karnal organized PARENT ORIENTATION PROGRAMME 2019-20 ON 2nd April, 2019. The Principal, enlightened the gathering by walking through the vision and philosophy of the school. He introduced the entire Academic, Administrative and support staff to the parents. By the end of the programme, the parents understood the entire system of the school.

Parenting style is one of the most attributed issues when dealing with care for children by their own parents. Parents should be always knowledgeable about the impact of proper parenting so that their child will grow productively. MMIS KARNAL organized a special program ‘Parenting and Education ‘ on good parenting. The event was chaired by the great mentor, career coach and author Mr.VishalSood, Alumnus IIM Ahmedabad, where he addressed the parents on particular and continuing task of parents to enculturate children with values to prepare them to face the challenges in social, physical, economical, and psychological situations that are characteristic of the culture in which they are to survive and thrive.
A Drawing and Painting Competition for children was also part of this program which was really appreciable step to engage the children. Gifts and certificates were given to all participants and winners were applauded with prizes and certificates.
Program was summed up with the vote of thanks by honourable Principal. Everyone found great joy and there were positive responses from all the parents regarding the program.

A distinctive programme has been organized by M.M. International School, Karnal on Sunday i.e. 17th March 2019 at Indri. The programme was chaired by Mr. Vishal Sood (Carrer Coach and Author, IIM AhemdabadAlumus). He delivered an informative speech on GOOD PARENTING. The length and breadth of knowledge that the parents gained through this lecture is simply unparalleled.
Even the school has set the benchmark for conducting COLOURING AND DRAWING COMPETITION in such a way that the students not only enjoyed but also learnt a great deal from it. Prize distribution ceremony was conducted to felicitate and recognize the talent of students. Participation certificated were given to each and every participant.
Finally the navigator of this flag ship of knowledge, Principal of MMIS, Karnal acknowledge the efforts of the students and thanked the parents and the esteemed guest for their precious time from the busy schedule to give us tips on Good Parenting.
The event was over with delicious snacks. The parents left the hall with an energized feel, overwhelming happiness and with smiles on their faces after this exhilarating event.
With the aim of honing the dancing skills of the students, a Dance Competition was organized by #MMIS, Karnal for students of grade I and II in the school campus. The vivacious dancers set the floor on fire with their energetic performances. The fun filled extravaganza offered folk dance forms of Rajasthan, Punjab, Jammu and Gujarat.
The spectators witnessed the enthusiasm and energy of the young children as they enthralled everyone with their performances. Young pupils enjoyed a lot in the competition as it proved as an energy booster for their mind and soul.
MMIS, Karnal successfully conducted an Inter House GK Quiz in the school auditorium on 2 February 2019, in which four different houses with six fervent participants in each house gave tough battle to each other. The participation had to go through mazes of intuited and mind blogging rounds consisting of questions related to Current affairs, Science, Sports, Music and many more. It was very informative and knowledge enriching competition for the participants along with the audience. Students enjoyed and learnt a lot.
BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE IN THIS WORLD AND FEEL PROUD TO BE AN INDIAN.’. The Principal, Mr. Manish Sondhi, unfurled the National Flag and students pledged themselves to uphold the honour and integrity, diversity and uniqueness of our country India.
The choir groups presented the patriotic songs. The whole school joined the choir and the songs reverberated in the surroundings. It was followed by a beautiful dance dipped in the feelings of patriotism. The melodious music and graceful movements of the dancers were spellbinding.
The Principal of MMIS, Karnal addressed the students and urged them to do their best and feel proud to be Indians.
The students enjoyed a lot and they dispersed after snacks with the image of the fluttering tricolour in their minds.
