RESULT OF INTRA SCHOOL MUSIC COMPETITION
MMIS SYMPHONIA (21 JUNE)

‘Music and Rhythm find their way into the secret places of the soul’
On the occasion of World Music Day (21 June) a Virtual Intra School Music Competition ‘MMIS SYMPHONIA’ was organized. The students from all the three branches of MMIS Group enthusiastically participated in the various categories planned under the event. The event was judges by Mr. Deepak Massey and Mr. Deepanshu Chawla, Music faculty MMIS.

The categories vice winners of the competitions are as follow:
Children’s Song/Rhymes Competition for grades 1 to 2- Hitakshi Kamboj (Grade I) MMIS, Ambala bagged I position, II position was won by Laira (Grade-II) MMIS, Mullana and III place was grabbed by Ashmeet (Grade-II) MMIS, Karnal.

The students of grade 3 to 5 participated in Patriotic Song/Rhymes Competition, in which I position was bagged by Aayushi Saini (Grade V) MMIS, Mullana, II Position was grabbed by Vinayak Tara (Grade V) MMIS, Ambala, and III Position was won by Aarav Singh (Grade V) MMIS, Ambala.

The next category was Folk Song (Indian /International) for grade 6 to 8, in which Tanmay Ahuja of (Grade VIII) MMIS, Ambala stood I, Divyanshi (Grade VIII) MMIS, Mullana won II place and III position was grabbed by Alisha Verma (Grade VI) MMIS, Ambala.

Scholars of grade 9 to10 participated in Modern English Song Competition, in which Daizy Bedi (Grade X) MMIS, Ambala bagged I position, Anjani Saini (Grade IX) MMIS, Mullana grabbed II position and III position was secured by Hunar Katyal (Grade X) MMIS, Ambala.

Semi Classical or Classical (Indian/International) Singing Competition was organised for adolescents of grade 11&12, where Vaibhav Garg (Grade XII) MMIS, Mullana won I position followed by Ishika Gupta (Grade XI) MMIS, Ambala and Vanshika (Grade XII) MMIS, Mullana.

Self Defence is not just a set of techniques, it’s a state of mind and it begins with the belief that you are worth defending.D

To appraise the girl child about the importance of Self Defence, #MMInternationalSchool conducted a one day workshop on Self-Defence for the girls on January 25, 2020, on the campus of the school. The trainer, Mr.RinkuKashyap (President Ambala Karate Association) taught the girls many self-defense tricks and #techniques to develop confidence in them. Orientation and discussion were held on safety precautions at the road, home, school and at public places. Girl Students from other schools also took part in this workshop enthusiastically. Motivating the students to learn the skill of #Martial_Arts, Principal, Mr.ManishSondhi, stressed upon the need and the importance of learning the Art of Self Defence in today’s era.

With a view to promote democratic electoral participation MM INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, RAMBA-KARNAL celebrated National Voters Day on 25th January 2020.

With a view to promote democratic electoral participation MM  INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, RAMBA-KARNAL celebrated National Voters Day on 25th January 2020. The Principal, Mr Manish Sondhi, addressed the school about the relevance and importance of celebrating this day and encouraged them to participate in the electoral process. All the staff members and students had taken #Voters’ Pledge, to uphold the democratic traditions of our country and the dignity of free, fair and peaceful elections. It was followed by a Pledge which gave impetus to ‘Inclusive and qualitative participation’. The pledge echoed the need to give the youth a sense of empowerment, pride and inspire them to exercise their franchise.

MM_INTERNATIONAL_SCHOOL, RAMBHA-KARNAL successfully hosted Six C.B.S.E. workshops back to back organized by Sri Aurobindo Society from January 22, 2020 to 23, 2020. In these workshops around 180 teachers from all over the state participated The resource person, Mr RajanWadhwa, enhanced the innovations of teachers by

discussing zero Investment Innovations for Education Initiatives. He introduced many different ways to teach any topic with play way method. The participants gave a very enthusiastic response and engaged in lively and deep

discussions amongst them. All the groups were given an opportunity to share their thoughts in an open forum.

All the participants as well as the resource person were spellbound by the hospitality of #MMIS.

The third edition of our revered Prime Minister NarendraModi; programme; ParikshaPe Charcha-2020; was organized on January 20, 2020 at Talkatora Indoor Stadium in Delhi

Every person should do what they can do at their level, even small efforts lead to big changes in life.

The third edition of our revered Prime Minister NarendraModi; programme; ParikshaPe Charcha-2020; was organized on January 20, 2020 at Talkatora Indoor Stadium in Delhi and students of MMIS, KARNAL witnessed that programme by watching live telecast of it at the premises of the school.

Our honorable Prime Minister discussed many important topics in his session. In context of ‘Rights and Duties’ is said, “If we do our duties genuinely, then there is no need to ask for our rights”.

He advised students to see what they could do in favour of their country which could benefit them and the country in future. He further added not to let technology take over

their lives, it is just a small part of their life.

Students appreciated his thought provoking words. In a nut shell, his soul stirring speech would be a stepping stone in the life of young juveniles.

Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships.

MM INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL KARNAL hosted National level “Goodwill Cup Taekwondo Championship”. The event was inaugurated on December 20, 2019 with the lamp lighting ceremony and the marvelous performances by MMITIANS. Around 750 students from the different parts of the country participated in the event. Mr Ram Kumar Kashyap (MLA Indri) presided over the function as Chief Guest. The Director, Mr D.K.Tyagi, and the Principal, Mr Manish Sondhi, welcomed and motivated the participants in the ceremony.

Juveniles sang a melodious welcome song for the guests. Rajasthani dance ‘Ghoomer’ was the spark of the day.

Mr Manish, Mr Deepak Sachdeva, Mr Vinod Saini, Mr Harmeet Singh and Dr Rajkumar were the organizers of the event.

In a nut shell, juveniles learnt and enjoyed a lot in this event.

To reinforce the significance and importance of constitution MMIS, Karnal celebrated Constitution Day on 26th November in remembrance of the Father of Indian Constitution, Dr B R Ambedkar.

On this occasion special assembly was conducted at school premises where School Heads, Mr D.K.Tyagi, Director MMIS Karnal and Mr Manish Sondhi, Principal MMIS Karnal shared their views and explained the importance of the constitution to the students. The event concluded with everybody taking a pledge to always abide by the Constitution of India followed by National Anthem.

The celebration of Diwali, festival of lights, came alive at MMIS

“Candles to enjoy life,

Decorations to light life,

Presents to share success,

Fire crackers to burn evils

Sweets to sweeten success

And worship to thank God!”

The celebration of Diwali, festival of lights, came alive at MMIS, Karnal on October 25, 2019.

The day was begun with the pujan of Lord Ganesha, Goddess Laxmi and MaaSaraswati. The whole school was adorned with the beautiful rangolies made by the students. The ‘Uccharan of Shalokas’ added flavour into the mood of festivity. Dance presentation by the students of Grade 9 was the spark of the day.

Our Director, Mr D.K.Tyagi, endorsed students to provide gifts to the children of the slum areas. Our Principal, Mr Sondhi, made the speech in the end. He urged the students not to play with fireworks on this festival. He also wished that the whole of India might be healthier and more prosperous. All the present staff members and students cherished the presentations of the day with a smile.
